Terms of Service
Arco Transportation is an internal company system operated by Arco Group for its own employees and contracted drivers. These Terms govern that internal use. The service is not offered to the public, and no public account creation is provided.
1. Who can use this service
Arco Transportation is made available only to:
- Active employees of Arco Group (office staff, foremen, dispatchers, administrators); and
- Drivers operating vehicles under contract with Arco Group.
Accounts are created and assigned by Arco Group. You may not register an account yourself, share your account with anyone else, or use an account that was not issued to you personally.
2. The service
The service consists of a website and a progressive web app at transport.arco-ts.org, together with the WhatsApp notification flows that Arco runs through the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform. The service is provided to help Arco coordinate the transportation of cargo and labor between Arco warehouses, projects and labor camps.
3. Your account
You agree to:
- Keep your password confidential. If you suspect anyone else has used your account, notify your dispatcher immediately.
- Provide accurate information when filing a request (e.g. correct pickup, drop-off, headcount, photos).
- Use the service only for Arco's legitimate operational purposes.
4. Acceptable use
While using Arco Transportation, you must not:
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or unrelated to the cargo / labor operation at hand.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data, or to interfere with the operation of the system.
- Use the service to send commercial messages to anyone outside Arco.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from the system other than via the features provided to you.
5. WhatsApp messaging
Drivers and foremen receive WhatsApp notifications about their trips via the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform. By using the service in that role you understand that operational information (trip details, locations, photos, voice notes) will be delivered to the WhatsApp number associated with your Arco profile. Arco does not use these messages for marketing.
6. Data and privacy
Personal information processed by the service is covered by our Privacy Policy. By using Arco Transportation you acknowledge that Arco will process your data as described there.
7. Service availability
Arco Group will make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and accurate, but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be paused for maintenance or upgrades. We may also change or remove features at any time.
8. Intellectual property
The software, branding and content of Arco Transportation are owned by Arco Group. You may use them only as part of your work for Arco. No licence is granted to use Arco trademarks or content outside the service.
9. Termination
Arco Group may suspend or disable your account at any time — typically when you leave Arco, when your contract ends, or if you breach these Terms. Disabling an account does not remove the historical operational records you created; those remain in the system as part of Arco's records.
10. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided to Arco's own users on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UAE law, Arco Group excludes all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms affects rights that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Dubai.
12. Changes to these Terms
We will update this page if we change how the service works in a material way. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
