Arco Transportation is the in-house logistics system that Arco Group's foremen, dispatchers and drivers use every day to schedule cargo trips and labor shifts across the company's sites in the United Arab Emirates.
Arco Group runs construction, civil, IT and architectural projects across the UAE. Every day, materials need to move between warehouses and project sites, and crews need to move between labor camps and projects. Arco Transportation is the single place where all of that is requested, dispatched, tracked and reported — so nothing is lost in a WhatsApp thread or a phone call that nobody wrote down.
Foremen request material trips from warehouses to projects (or anywhere else on the map). The cargo manager assigns one of Arco's own vehicles + drivers, sets the cost, and the driver receives the trip directly on WhatsApp with photos, pickup and drop-off pins, and a one-tap "Picked up" / "Delivered" workflow.
Each shift, foremen request how many workers need to be moved from which camp to which project. The labor dispatcher assigns buses and drivers, and the night-shift / morning / return windows are enforced automatically. Drivers get the full pickup plan on WhatsApp.
The system has separate, role-tailored screens — a clean mobile app for foremen and drivers, and a denser admin panel for dispatchers.
Foremen send a cargo or labor request from their phone in seconds, attach photos or a voice note, and watch the status update live.
Dispatchers see every pending request, pick a driver and vehicle, set the trip cost, and approve. WhatsApp messages go out automatically to the driver and the requester.
Every cargo and labor vehicle is connected to Arco's Cartrack GPS account. Dispatchers see where each vehicle is in real time.
Drivers receive trip details, locations, and cargo photos as approved WhatsApp template messages. Their replies (Picked up, Delivered, proof photo) flow straight back into the system.
Per-project, per-month reports show how many trips ran, which drivers ran them, and the total cost — the data Arco needs to invoice each internal project.
Drivers and foremen can pick English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam or Filipino. The web app and every WhatsApp message they receive switch accordingly.
